Detailed Roles and Responsibilities <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\uf0b7 Introducing self as the patient nurse<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\uf0b7 Understanding the patients purpose of visiting the floor <\/div>\n\n\n\n
\uf0b7 Give admission to the patient as per her requirement <\/div>\n\n\n\n
\uf0b7 To escort patient to her room\/ward <\/div>\n\n\n\n
\uf0b7 After the patient reaches her room or ward, the nurse will have to orient her about: <\/div>\n\n\n\n
\uf0b7 What to expect during her stay in the hospital today <\/div>\n\n\n\n
\uf0b7 Orientation on the same floor facilities and hospital services <\/div>\n\n\n\n
\uf0b7 What to do in case of any query <\/div>\n\n\n\n
\uf0b7 Assist Consultants, Gynecologists, Physicians and Medical Officers during their rounds in the hospital <\/div>\n\n\n\n
\uf0b7 On admission measure and note temperature, pulse, BP and other vitals of the patient and inform the Medical officer\/Assistant Gynecologist <\/div>\n\n\n\n
\uf0b7 Assist the technician for ECG <\/div>\n\n\n\n
\uf0b7 Give injections, start pint etc.. as per order of the consultant <\/div>\n\n\n\n
\uf0b7 Carefully shift the patient to the OT as per planned time. <\/div>\n\n\n\n
\uf0b7 Shift the patient back to her room\/ward and again follow the order of consultant <\/div>\n\n\n\n
\uf0b7 Explain patient relative all relevant information before and after the procedure\/surgery. If the anxiety level of the patient is high, the nurse can inform the medical officer and if the need be can also inform Gynecologist. <\/div>\n\n\n\n
\uf0b7 Taking rounds of the patient at regular interval and fill up vitals of the patients as per nursing sheet. <\/div>\n\n\n\n
\uf0b7 Explain the patients relative to visit the drug store and pay for the drugs used in the OT <\/div>\n\n\n\n
\uf0b7 Perform the following activities before discharge: <\/div>\n\n\n\n
\uf0b7 Give medicines, operation CD, reports and discharge card if applicable to the patient <\/div>\n\n\n\n
\uf0b7 Remove VIGO\/Urine bag etc. as per nursing protocol <\/div>\n\n\n\n
\uf0b7 Check all the vitals like, Nausea, Vomiting, fever, BP etc. of the patient <\/div>\n\n\n\n
\uf0b7 Check the payment status of the patient <\/div>\n\n\n\n
\uf0b7 Wave a happy and get well soon goodbye to the patient and assure them that they will be fine soon and incase of any query they can always contact Dr. Mira Dave <\/div>\n\n\n\n
\uf0b7 Maintain drug stock everyday and check the expiry of the drug every 3 months <\/div>\n\n\n\n
\uf0b7 Give trigger injections to OPU patients 2 days before the OPU procedure <\/div>\n\n\n\n
\uf0b7 To prepare dressing tray and send it for autoclave. The autoclave tray can be used only for two days otherwise it has to be autoclaved again. <\/div>\n\n\n\n
\uf0b7 Assist Gynecologists\/Medical Officers in dressing (Medical) of the patients. <\/div>\n\n\n\n
\uf0b7 To be always kind and well-mannered to the patients and colleagues and remain well groomed as per policy of the hospital. <\/div>\n\n\n\n
\uf0b7 To maintain Medical Records as per law <\/div>\n\n\n\n
\uf0b7 To follow all instructions for Medical Waste Management <\/div>\n\n\n\n
\uf0b7 To remain groomed as per hospital policy and maintain cordial relations with patients and colleagues <\/div>\n\n\n\n
\uf0b7 While joining the duty for the day take the message from the previous duty nurse and while <\/div>\n\n\n\n
\uf0b7 Maintain the order book for the injections\/medicines given to the patients. <\/div>\n\n\n\n
\uf0b7 To participate in all training and developments sessions whenever planned by management <\/div>\n\n\n\n
\uf0b7 To follow all the instructions, duties and responsibilities as given by the management <\/div>\n\n\n\n
