India vs South Africa 2nd Test Day 4: IND win by innings and 137 runs to lead series 2-0

Pune: Umesh Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja both finished with 3 wickets each in the final innings as India beat South Africa by an innings and 137 runs to take an unbeatable 2-0 series lead. India bowled out the Proteas for 189 after asking them to bat again on Day 4.

India set the new record for most series wins (11) at home in Test cricket. This is also India’s biggest innings win over South Africa in Test cricket, beating their previous best of an innings and 57-run victory at the Eden Gardens in 2010. Overall, this was India’s 10th biggest innings win in Test cricket.
